Nurturing Nodes in the Nook of an Odd Sock
(International Exhibition and Global Networking Project)
"Nurturing Nodes in the Nook of an Odd Sock" is an international exhibition and global networking project curated by artist-curator Yutaka Inagawa. Featuring 19 artists from diverse regions including the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, China, Colombia, Germany, and Japan, the exhibition seeks to reimagine alternative ways to celebrate creative dialogues between artists, artworks, and their surroundings within the exhibition-making format. The project introduces a multi-axial structure, fostering a unique and experimental environment.
The curatorial approach delves into the exploration of interconnectedness and the intricate complexities of multiple-logics within the artistic framework created by the “artist-curator.” It aims to explore ephemeral and hypothetical settings with a sense of nonsensicality and multiple possible states in dynamics by reconfiguring the interactions between artworks, their surroundings, and audience engagement.
The exhibition also includes a series of talk sessions and workshops designed to delve into its experimental potential and foster cross-boundary community formation. These activities aim to create a fluid, multi-layered network that extends beyond individual connections, promoting cultural exchange and dialogue
READ MORE ABOUT EXHIBITION
